Middle Schools

There are three schools in the Athens City School System - one primary schools for Pre-K - second grades; one intermediate schools for third - fifth grades; and one middle school for sixth - eighth grades. The System also operates a camp at Watts Bar Lake - Camp Oo-tah-nee-noh-chee, which students in grades second- eighth visit.
