A NOTE ABOUT HOMEWORK AND REPORT CARDS

Note reading and recognition of simple music symbols is a part of the Athens City Schools Music Curriculum.  From time to time students will have homework on this.

Whenever a student is given homework it is to practice concepts we have gone over and learned in class.  Homework is never sent until the material has been discussed in the classroom.   While it is due on the next music class day, it will be accepted at any time.  Better late than never.

If your child needs help see the Homework Helper section of this page.

If a student does not turn in their homework, it may affect the music grade on their report card.
