Registration for Athens City Kindergarten’s will be May 7, 2010 from

8:00 am – 1:00 pm at City Park and Ingleside Schools. You should register the child at the school where he/she will attend. 

A child entering kindergarten must be 5 years old on or before September 30, 2010.  A child shall not be eligible to enter first grade without having attended an approved Kindergarten program. 

Bring the child with you, the child’s original birth certificate, shots records, and Social Security card.

In addition, if you live outside the Athens City limits and are applying to send your child to a city Kindergarten, you will need to obtain a Tuition application from the Central Office or on the Athens City School’s website.  This form will need to be completed and returned to the central office no later than May 14, 2010.

Registration for the Four Star Academy Pre-School will also be on

May 7, 2010.  The child must be 4 years old prior to September 30, 2010.  Last names beginning with A-L will register from 9am – 11am, and last names beginning with M-Z will be from 1pm – 3pm.
