Welcome to the website of the Athens City Schools. We are happy that you have chosen our school system or are considering our system for your child's education. Our system comprises five schools - Athens City Middle School, North City School, Westside School, City Park School and Ingleside School. Our educators and staff are highly qualified to provide your child with the best education possible. TNReady Score Report Resource for Families

The department has a website to provide additional information about TNReady score reports in order to help families better understand their students' individual score reports, as well as next steps for supporting their students' academic progress. The website includes detailed explanations of each section of the individual score report and links to additional resources. Click here to view the website.

Parent Website to Combat Chronic Absenteeism

The U.S. Department of Education, the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, and the Ad Council have partnered to create a public service campaign called Absences Add Up. The campaign features a series of PSAs that direct parents to, a website with information and resources to help parents in ensuring their children attend school each day.
