Chris Adams

The Athens City School System is glad to welcome Chris Adams as one of our new School Board members.

Chris is a 1985 graduate of McMinn County High School and a 1991 graduate of Tennessee Wesleyan College where he received his B.S. in Business Administration. He is employed with Athens Federal Community Bank as Vice President/Deposit Operations.

Chris' wife, Meloyne, is the Financial Administrator for the United Way of McMinn and Meigs Counties. They have two sons. Brady is a kindergartener at Ingleside Elementary School, and Rylan is three years old. Chris and his family are members of Mars Hill Presbyterian Church.

Chris is active in the community serving as Past President and Board Member of the Tri-County Center and currently serves on the Board of the Athens/McMinn YMCA and the Chamber of Commerce. He is also a Past President and current member of the Athens Kiwanis Club.
