Hello!  My name is Tabatha Jones, and I'm a fifth grade teacher.  I teach at Westside Elementary in the Athens City School System.  I have been teaching for eight years.  I have a B.S. Degree from Middle Tennessee State University in Communications.  I received my teaching certificate for K-8 from Lee University.  I am currently seeking my Master's in "Integrating Technology Into The Curriculum" through Walden University.

     I am married, and the mother of two boys, ages 6 and 11.  I live in Athens, TN.  I grew up in McMinn County and enjoy living in East Tennessee.  The mountains, lakes, and rivers are great entertainment.   I  love the outdoors!   My favorite sports include basketball, baseball, and football.  I also enjoy writing poetry and cooking.

      I currently teach all subjects in a self-contained classroom. I love teaching and  getting to know my students. I think teaching is one of the greatest, most fulfilling jobs one can have. I enjoy what I do and hope that my students enjoy being in my classroom.
