ACS will be on an abbreviated early dismissal schedule on Friday, December 19th. Buses will run. Breakfast and Lunch will be served. We look forward to seeing our students tomorrow on our last day of school before Christmas Break!

Santa Shoppe takes a village to pull off. This year Mrs. Barnett’s classes at ACMS helped us wrap presents. As a thank you we sent in sugar cookies to decorate! Thank you to everyone who has played a part in bringing the magic to ACIS! #ExcellenceIsACS

Some K-Kids spent time this morning packing 450 bags of books which will be placed in the Friendly Fellows Christmas Food boxes. Thanks to the K-Kids and Lets Read 20, families will not only receive food for Christmas but also brand new books to read. #ExcellenceIsACI

254 Nourish One Child bags were packed in record time today. Kids helping kids is always a great sight to see. #ExcellenceIsACI

ACS is so grateful for the many community partners that are always willing to meet the needs of our students and families. Thank you to Keith Church, Nourish One Child, Athens Insurance, Denso, McMinn County High School Science Club, YMCA, Elks Lodge of Athens, and many local private sponsors that aided with students in need this year in our Angel Tree program. #ExcellenceIsACS

Mrs. A. Brown's 2nd grade enjoyed a festive "Grinch Day" by making ornaments, decorating sugar cookies, creating jingle bell necklaces, and painting portraits of the Grinch. A huge shout out to our phenomenal PTO for providing Grinch juice, Little Debbie cakes, and popcorn!

Tonight, ACMS proudly retired the #21 in honor of Ronnie McMahan. Ronnie’s playing time at AJHS from 1985-89, MCHS, Vanderbilt, and professionally has long been considered one of the highlight careers of any McMinn county athlete. Congratulations, Ronnie McMahan! #ExcellenceIsACM
