ACS Did You Know ? During the month of April, ACS Coordinated School Health and School Nutrition are sharing about Tomatoes. The tomato was designated the official state fruit of TN in 2023 by the 103rd general assembly. April 15th is "Purple Up! For Military Kids" day. In April we celebrate military children, this day is set aside to celebrate the important role military children play while their service member parents serve our country. ACS will celebrate by wearing Purple on Tuesday, April 15th.

Ms. Gose, a local beekeeper, presented a program on honeybees to second grade students. She was assisted by Kellye Bishop, a member of the Cherokee Beekeepers.
