
ACS CSH and School Nutrition are teaming up to share some helpful info each month. The month of October we are focusing on the benefits of eating Pumpkins. Tennessee ranks 15th in the nation for pumpkins harvested, with a production value of $2.2 million.
Did you know? Pumpkin provides calcium, potassium, and magnesium, which can help keep your heartbeat regular and your blood pressure low. The fiber in pumpkin can also play a part in lowering blood pressure as well as cholesterol.


October 28-November 1- ACMS will be celebrating Fall Spirit Week with themed dress up days and also Red Ribbon week to provide drug prevention awareness to students.

Spina Bifida Awareness Day is Friday October 25th and we encourage our students and staff to wear yellow to show support and awareness for this day.
