ACS CSH and School Nutrition are teaming up to share some helpful info each month. The month of February we are focusing on the benefits of eating Lettuce. Did you know? Leafy greens such as lettuce and spinach are the most popular locally grown vegetables in TN. Rich in vitamins A, C, E and K. These veggies can play roles in blocking early stages of cancer.

K-Kids week is a chance for K-Kid members to celebrate their club and show the community what K-Kids is about: service. This year ACIS K-Kids wanted to show appreciation and serve groups close to home. Monday they packed candy bags and made cards to recognize the amazing cafeteria and janitorial staff of ACIS. They also made cards and bags to give to our friends at TerraBella for Valentines Day. Wednesday the “Best Office Ever” was surprised with treats and decorations to show appreciation for all their support of the club and the amazing things they do to serve our school everyday. Thursday afternoon snacks and drinks were set up at ACMS for their teachers and staff to show how awesome they are. These students recognized groups who go above and beyond for ACS students and were excited to serve them this week.
