It is without question that band is not only popular at ACMS, it is EXCELLENT!! These are our 66 sixth graders. Mark your calendar-The band concert is Tuesday, 5/6, beginning at 6:00. You will be impressed.



Mrs. Alexander’s class visited Pre-K this morning to read with Mrs. Dawnita’s class.











After two weeks of testing it was a nice break for Mrs Mayfield’s and Ms. Harrison’s classes to read with Pre-K buddies.








Congratulations to ACS staff members that were recognized at the Athens Chamber of Commerce Banquet last evening.
Dr. Andrew Kimball, Supervisor of Federal Programs, Safety, and Technology, received the Young Man of the Year award.
Mrs. Wendy Davis, Athens City Primary First Grade Teacher and Systemwide Teacher of the Year for ACS, received the Teacher of the Year award.



Mrs. Amos's Class had a wonderful time a Camp Oo-Tah-Nee-Noh- Chee today despite the rain! Thank you Coach AJ, Coach Davis, and Coach Stansell for making this day so special for the kids and teachers!
