Athens City Schools is now enrolling new students for the 2026–2027 school year in Pre-K through 8th grade. Registration packets are available for pickup at the Athens City Schools Administration Office, located at 943 Crestway Drive. #ExcellenceIsACS

What an awesome week with summer feeding at Athens City. We distributed over 1100+ meals a day.  We are ready for  another fantastic week.  Come see us daily at our feeding locations. Any child 2-18 years gets a free meal.

Today we had a Popsicle Party theme day! With our popsicle theme, we enjoyed science experiments, creative writing activities, and building challenges. It was a fun themed day that allowed students to put into practice all the learning and skills they have accomplished this year.

We’ve partnered with Dolly Parton Children’s Hospital to offer telehealth services for all students. Pediatric providers from Dolly Children’s are available to evaluate symptoms and recommend treatment through a virtual health visit —right from the school clinic using virtual health tools. Students may be seen for fevers, sore throats, ear infections, allergies, rashes, pink eye, coughs, and more.
