
CSH team wearing green today to show support and raise awareness for Duchene Muscular Dystrophy for one of our students at ACS. This week our team completed health screenings at Athens City Primary! We appreciate our school nurses and central office staff teaming up together to complete screenings. Mrs. Amos's class got to share their "Most Important Thing About Schools" books with Mrs. Jacob's kindergartners! This was part of their celebration of learning for finishing their research on schools around the world.

Mrs. Davis' class has been learning about initiative, perseverance, and collaboration. They are using these character traits to create a magnificent thing needed for the classroom.











Athens City Primary School will be having Annual Title 1 meeting on Thursday, September 26th.


STEM Classes in K-5 have been studying the Seasons, Weather, and Clouds. Upon finishing the Lessons, the students have entered a week of Experiments, which included Cloud in a Jar and Rain in a Jar. Their reactions to these experiments' have been sweet. Watching their faces light up when they see the experiment work have been wonderful. Hope you enjoy the pictures and videos. Looking forward to more fun STEM Times with students this year.

Thank you for your patience and support as authorities have discovered the source and taken appropriate legal steps in regard to the specific threat at the middle school that caused today’s disruption. As always, we will investigate every threat in collaboration with local law enforcement and homeland security. Be assured appropriate legal and school disciplinary action will be taken. We hope this current trend of threats being experienced in many districts and states will end and help us to refocus on educating our students in a safe and nurturing environment.
