Hello! My name is Michelle Wright and I am your ACPS PTO Treasurer this school year! I am married to Jared and we have 2 beautiful children - a 4th grader at ACIS and a 1st grader at ACPS.
I received my bachelor's degree from Tennessee Wesleyan University & a MBA from Tennessee Tech in business with emphases in accounting & finance. I am currently the lead financial consultant at a public utility company. We attend Allen Memorial United Methodist Church, where I am the VBS director & Family Ministries co-coordinator.
I attended North City, Ingleside & Athens Junior High, and I am excited to work with each of you to give back to the students, faculty, & staff at Athens City Primary School!

Hello all ! My name is Tish Quillen and I am this year’s ACPS PTO vice president. I grew up in Athens and was a product of Athens City Schools. I graduated from ETSU and have worked in the healthcare field for the last 13 years.
I have 1 child, Finley (1st grade) in the Athens City Schools. We enjoy spending our time outdoors camping and hiking with friends and family. When we can we also love to travel and learn about the world around us.
I look forward to serving as VP this year and can’t wait to see the amazing things we will accomplish together!!
💛Meet your PTO Secretary💙
Hi there! My name is Heidi King and I am this year’s ACPS PTO secretary. I grew up in Athens and attended North City and Athens Junior High (in the olden days!) I graduated from Maryville College with a degree in Theatre and a husband I met on stage there and we just celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary!
We have 2 children in the Athens City Schools, Ander (3rd grade) and Silas (1st grade). You will likely see our nerdy family around E. G. Fisher Public Library or The Arts Center where Ander is getting quite a theatre resume (shameless plug for Diary of a Wimpy Kid The Musical, playing this weekend!)
I’m excited to continue working to help our community thrive through PTO work for both sides of the big school!

ACS PreK is still accepting applications for the 2024-2025 school year. Registration packets can be picked up at the Administration Office at 943 Crestway Drive and returned once completed. For questions, call 745-1516.

Hello everyone! My name is Ashley Davis. I’m married to my husband Jason and we have two boys, Rhett-2nd Grade and Truett-PreK. We have two adorable dachshunds, a cat and 13 chickens. I love animals if you can't tell. 🤣
Outside my role in the PTO, I work as a Family Nurse Practitioner. We attend Eastanallee Baptist Church. I am excited to be working alongside Taylor as the Co-President this year and supporting the Staff and Students of ACPS!

I am married to my high school sweetheart, Andrew, and we have 4 beautiful children together. Olivia (1st grade), Callie (Pre-K), Barrett (2 years old), and Stella (2 months old). I have my bachelors in nursing from The University of Tennessee and a masters in nursing from East TN State University, but my current job is that of Mom! We attend The Greenhouse Church where we lead a weekly small group. I am a product of Athens City Schools, and I am excited to service the students, teachers, and staff of ACPS in this new role of PTO Co-President.

ACS CSH and School Nutrition are teaming up to share some helpful info each month. The month of August we are focusing on the benefits of eating Melons. Melons have high high water content, low in calories and provide excellent source of Vitamins A and C. Did you know? One of the most common types of melons is the muskmelon, or cantaloupe. Other melons include the watermelon, honeydew, and canary. It's a great time of year to enjoy a delicious slice of melon.
ACS looks forward to seeing our students and staff return back to school tomorrow. Please remember to use caution when driving in the school zones.
