Our school has partnered with the McMinn County Health Department to offer flu shots at school. This year, the health department will not be using paper forms. Instead, parents will complete the form online. This information goes directly to the health department, so call the health department if you have any questions, please call 423-745-7431 and speak to Tina Gallaher, RN supervisor. Mrs. Amos's class celebrated their excellent behavior over the last night weeks by cashing in their dojo points for fun prizes such as going shoeless in the class, being a VIP student for the day, and choosing items from the treasure box. They even had enough points as a class to cash in their points for a pizza party! Way to go!
Mrs. Frazier's second graders cashed in their dojo points to be teacher assistants, have lunch in the classroom, bring a toy to school, and read to another class. The whole class celebrated great behavior with a pajama day and sweet treats!

October 28-November 1- ACP and ACI will be celebrating Fall Spirit Week with themed dress up days and also Red Ribbon week to provide drug prevention awareness to students.
Athens City Schools will be closed October 7-11 for Fall Break. Schools will also be closed on Monday, October 14th for Inservice Day. Students will return back to school on Tuesday, October 15th. Kids Connection will be open October 7-10.
