It's been a stressful week but we appreciate all the kindness from our parents and the patience they have showed. Thank you for your patience and support as authorities have discovered the source and taken appropriate legal steps in regard to the specific threat at the middle school that caused today’s disruption. As always, we will investigate every threat in collaboration with local law enforcement and homeland security. Be assured appropriate legal and school disciplinary action will be taken. We hope this current trend of threats being experienced in many districts and states will end and help us to refocus on educating our students in a safe and nurturing environment.

The safety of our students and staff is always our top priority. We wanted to inform you that earlier this morning we were made aware of a threat mentioning our middle school circulating on social media.
Any threat we are made aware of is taken very seriously and will always be investigated with cooperation of law enforcement.
Law enforcement is actively investigating to determine its credibility.
As an extra security measure and peace of mind for our students,staff and families we will continue to have an enhanced security presence on our campuses.
ACS CSH and School Nutrition are teaming up to share some helpful info each month. The month of September we are focusing on the benefits of eating Apples. Tennessee produces close to 9 million pounds of apples etween June and October. Did you know? Apples are a good source of nutrients, including fiber, vitamin C and antioxidants which can help support healthy digestion, brain health, and weight management.
