THANK YOU to all ACIS Staff to make this Pep Rally a wonderful time for all. THANK YOU to ACMS cheerleaders and K-Kids for being a part of the Pep Rally.

Joshua Bragg is in his 10th year at ACMS. So the Big One-Oh has double meaning for him with this musical! Mr. Bragg is a jack of all trades when it comes to ACMS Fine Arts Department productions. He directs, music directs, produces, light designs, and as of last year, designs and builds his own sets (with the help of good friends, of course). Mr. Bragg is an ACMS (AJHS) Fine Arts Dept. alum himself so bringing musical theater to the community from the helm of this department means the world to him. Mr. Bragg is thrilled to bring his 5th musical as ACMS Performing Arts teacher!! Carmen Turnbough (Co-Assistant Director/Stage Manager) is an ACMS (AJHS) Fine Arts Department alum with a love for theater. She got her start on the ACMS stage as a student and returns to help with The Big One-Oh Jr.! Carmen has been a major asset to this year's production team, being integral in set construction, being Mr. Bragg's second set of eyes at every rehearsal, and pushing the kids to perform with the highest energy! With a unique background in criminal justice and education, she also runs a tight ship backstage!! Tyler Peaden (Co-Assistant Director/Choreographer) has been choreographing for the ACMS Fine Arts Department for almost 10 years!! He choreographed for ACMS Singers back in the day and made the transition with Mr. Bragg when he started doing musicals in 2018. This is his fourth musical as choreographer, having also done stellar work in Seussical Jr. ('18), Junie B. Jones the Musical Jr. ('19), and Matilda Jr. ('22). Tyler is a director and actor in his own right, having directed and participated in many musicals at our local Arts Center! Based on the beloved book, The Big One-Oh! JR. features lyrics by Academy Award-winner (Fame, Footloose) Dean Pitchford, the author of the novel; music by three-time Tony-winner Doug Besterman (The Producers, Fosse, Elf, Young Frankenstein), and a book by iTheatric's award-winning playwright Timothy Allen McDonald (Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka, James and the Giant Peach). You have 4 chances to come see this show!! Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for students and can be pre-purchased in the office at ACMS or bought at the door! Doors open at 6:00 and the show starts at 6:30 Thursday-Saturday. For the Sunday matinee, doors open at 2:30, with the show starting at 3:00. We hope to see you there!!

The Big One-Oh Jr. Cast Spotlight! Zombie King, Swampy, and Alien are Charley's imaginary friends—his 3 Monsters. When Charley is feeling frazzled or friendless, his Monsters appear to talk him through any dilemma and help him make decisions. Rachel Hurst (Alien) is returning to the ACMS stage after a great run in last year's production of Newsies Jr.! She is such a character, bringing high energy and such a positive light to the stage! Her dance skills paired with an innate stage presence make her an unstoppable force when she steps on stage. Devin Arnwine (Zombie King) is an ACMS Fine Arts Department veteran. She is no stranger to the stage, having done the ACMS musical for 3 years, as well as many productions at The Arts Center. When you hear this young lady sing, you'll understand why she is soooo special. Caitlyn Long (Swampy) is an ACMS Fine Arts Department veteran and leader!! She has been a star since she hit the stage in Matilda Jr.! Cailtyn has an indomitable presence on stage and it's impossible not to notice her! When you come to see this show, prepare to be overwhelmed by her talent!
