ACS Did You Know ? During the month of April, ACS Coordinated School Health and School Nutrition are sharing about Tomatoes. The tomato was designated the official state fruit of TN in 2023 by the 103rd general assembly. Mrs. Wilson's class worked with their peers unscrambling puzzle pictures and captions to match them. They LOVED this and did such a great job!
Students in 1st- 5th grade had fun learning in STEM class about the food pyramid, healthy food choices, value of money, and portion sizes. Thanks to the Coordinated School Health mini grant for funding this project for students to learn hands on in the STEM lab.
We appreciate Jamie Elison with 2nd Chance Boxing visiting students in 4th and 5th grade at ACI. He also explained the importance of health and physical activity as well as discipline and respect. Thank you Mr. Elison for your visit and presentation.
