ACS Family Engagement is excited to announce the upcoming systemwide event on February 4th. Valentine's Origami and Card Making will be presented by the Athens Isahya Sister City Committee and the Asian Culture Center of TN. Event Registration is required, class capacity is 50people. Attention families of 2nd graders! Help us shower our teachers and staff with love during the month of February with donations to our treat trolley! Just a reminder, all donations of food and drinks should be individually-packaged, nut-free, and store-bought. Donations should be dropped off at the front office by January 31st. Due to forecasted single digit temperatures and below zero windchills in the morning, Athens City Schools will be closed again Wednesday, January 22,2025. Kids Connection will also be closed tomorrow. Please stay warm and take precautions if you must be outdoors.
A few tips to help keep from spreading germs during this cold and flu season. Wash your child’s jackets, backpacks, shoes, etc and help us fight off the flu and other germs. You can also wipe down their lunch boxes, binders, etc with disinfectant wipes. Help us keep colds and flu out of our school.
