Athens City Primary PreK and Kindergarten Registration for 2025-2026 School Year is Friday, April 4. It will be from 8:30-4:30. Students enrolling in PreK must be 4 years old by August 15, 2025. Students enrolling in Kindergarten must be 5 years old by August 15, 2025. For more information, please call 423-745-3862.

The 2025 National School Breakfast Week is March 3-7. The campaign theme, “Clue In to School Breakfast,” reminds the entire school community that school breakfast provides a healthy start to the day for students. Breakfast is a crucial factor in helping students stay energized and focused. Athens City Schools provides nutritious and delicious choices for breakfast. We encourage all our students to start the day with a nutritious breakfast. All students receive no cost breakfast and lunch at Athens City Schools.

5th Grade Parents had the opportunity to show one last bit of LOVE to the staff for February. Big thanks to all the amazing staff and their big hearts for our children!

ACMS hosted its annual Black History Month assembly today with amazing poetry readings, special music, and an inspiring keynote address by Rukiya Foster. Thank you to all ACMS staff members that put together such an amazing program!

“Gentlemen, you can’t fight in here!” This year’s ACIS Talent Show is thrilled to have not one, not two, but THREE taekwondo artists competing. With two fourth graders and one fifth grader participating in his final Talent Show, all three were with us last year and ask again, “Are you not entertained?” Make sure to check out this and many other student and teacher acts as the 2025 ACIS Talent Show GOES HOLLYWOOD on March 7 at 6:30 pm in the Athens City Middle School Auditorium.
