A heartfelt thank you to First Baptist Church Athens for sponsoring a delicious bagel bar for our teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week! Your kindness and support helped start their day with a smile (and a full stomach). We appreciate all you do for our school!

ACS students and staff were able to see “WINGS TO SOAR” with John L Stokes & Dale Stokes. They provided an amazing bird of prey show. We are so appreciative of Mr. Larry Eaton, Mr. Jordan Curtis, and Athens Chamber of Commerce for your support in providing this unique learning opportunity for our students.

Day 4 of Teacher Appreciation! Today some of our PTO members volunteered to cover recess duty for our teachers 🛝 We loved giving our teachers a break and it reminded us how much you all do everyday 🫶🏻

ESL students had a great time on the field trip to McKays Bookstore and the park today.
ACS registration will continue for the upcoming 2025-2026 School Year for PreK and Kindergarten students. PreK registration packets can be picked up at 943 Crestway Drive. Kindergarten registration will be at 316 McMinn Avenue. Please see flier for more information.
ACS Coordinated School Health provided health treats for staff in the wellness rooms for staff to enjoy.
Reminding staff of the importance of taking a few minutes a day to de-stress is good for our mental, physical, and emotional health.
