April 2nd is Autism Awareness Day. ACS staff and students are encouraged to to wear BLUE to show awareness for Autism.

ACS will be closed on Friday, March 29th in observance of Good Friday holiday and also on Monday, April 1st for Professional Development Day. Kids Connection will be also be closed. Students will return back to class on Tuesday, April 2nd. We hope everyone has a great long weekend !
It was a great day for a Track Meet at Cleveland Middle School last Thursday! We will be competing there again tomorrow, Thursday, March 28th. Help us in cheering on our Cougar Track Team.

Athens City Schools announces an abbreviated school day on Monday, April 8, 2024. This change of schedule is due to the timing of the upcoming partial solar eclipse. We wanted to provide an opportunity for students and families to safely enjoy the event together. ACI TN Ready testing will begin on April 15th and go through April 25th. All test will be conducted in the morning and end by 12:00 each day. It is imperative that students arrive to school on time! We also ask that you do not pick up your child for appointments during testing times. Thank you for your cooperation!
