
ACS Did You Know ? During the month of April, ACS Coordinated School Health and School Nutrition are sharing about Tomatoes. The tomato was designated the official state fruit of TN in 2023 by the 103rd general assembly. They are a good source of several vitamins and minerals, such as vitamin C, potassium, vitamin K, and folate. They are classified as fruit but eaten and prepared as a vegetable,


SAVE THE DATE 2025 ATHLETIC PHYSICALS - Hosted by Starr Regional Medical Center.- Thursday, May 22, 2025. Free sports physicals for all high school and middle school athletes in McMinn & Meigs Counties. Athletes are asked to arrive at the time scheduled for their respective schools. Mrs. Wilson's class worked with their peers unscrambling puzzle pictures and captions to match them. They LOVED this and did such a great job!











Students in 1st- 5th grade had fun learning in STEM class about the food pyramid, healthy food choices, value of money, and portion sizes. Thanks to the Coordinated School Health mini grant for funding this project for students to learn hands on in the STEM lab.











We appreciate Jamie Elison with 2nd Chance Boxing visiting students in 4th and 5th grade at ACI. He also explained the importance of health and physical activity as well as discipline and respect. Thank you Mr. Elison for your visit and presentation.

ACMS students also competed today in the History and Geography Bowl. One 7th and 8th grade student will now move on to the national and international completion. Congratulations to all that competed today from ACMS! We are so proud of these students today!




Congratulations to ACMS students who participated in the IAC Quiz Bowl Science team. Three of them now qualify for the National tournament in Orlando in May and International quiz bowl competitions this summer! We are so proud of all the participants.
