Did you miss PreK and Kindergarten Registration Day? No problem!
You can still register your child for PreK or Kindergarten at Athens City Primary. Simply stop by the school office at 316 McMinn Avenue during regular school hours, and our friendly office staff will be happy to assist you. PreK application packets are available at the school offices or at the Administrative Office located at 943 Crestway Drive.

We’ve partnered with Dolly Parton Children’s Hospital to offer telehealth services for all students. Pediatric providers from Dolly Children’s are available to evaluate symptoms and recommend treatment through a virtual health visit —right from the school clinic using virtual health tools. Students may be seen for fevers, sore throats, ear infections, allergies, rashes, pink eye, coughs, and more. On-site testing, such as flu, strep and COVID, is available when needed. ✅ Quick & convenient care at school ✅ Visits billed by Dolly Children’s to insurance (sliding scale available for uninsured families) 👉 Learn more or register your child at etch.com/schooltelehealth If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to your child's school nurse. This is one more way we’re working to support student health and make access to care more convenient for families 💙

What a great day at the 43rd Special Olympics, watching our athletes compete and shine. Huge thanks to the Athens Civitan Club and all the volunteers who made it such a special and memorable event. We are so proud of all the athletes that competed today!

Save the Date, 2026 Athletic Physicals, June 4, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Located at MCHS, please use the gymnasium entrance. - hosted by Starr Regional Medical Center. Free sports physicals for all high school and middle school athletes in McMinn and Meigs Counties.
