Free sports physicals for all high school and middle school athletes in McMinn & Meigs Counties. Athletes are asked to arrive at the time scheduled for their respective schools. ACS Principals are amazing leaders and their commitment to excellence is evident in the way they lead. ACMS invites rising 3rd graders thru rising 9th graders from Athens City & McMinn County to attend an Arts & Athletic camp this summer. Students can attend one or both weeks. See details attached: https://5il.co/3dntu
It is without question that band is not only popular at ACMS, it is EXCELLENT!! These are our 66 sixth graders. Mark your calendar-The band concert is Tuesday, 5/6, beginning at 6:00. You will be impressed.
Students at ACIS enjoyed some time relaxing with games in the cafeteria and gym to celebrate completing their TNReady Tests.
Mrs. Alexander’s class visited Pre-K this morning to read with Mrs. Dawnita’s class.
After two weeks of testing it was a nice break for Mrs Mayfield’s and Ms. Harrison’s classes to read with Pre-K buddies.
Class of 2025- Athens City Schools would like to welcome all former students back for the Senior Walk on May 13th. It will begin at Athens City Middle School at 8:15 am then will proceed through Athens City Primary and Athens City Intermediate school. A reception for the graduates will follow the walk.
Mark your calendars to come out and support the ACS athletes this year as they compete in the Special Olympics on Saturday, April 26th at McMinn County High School. It begins at 10 a.m.
