Athens City Schools will host a systemwide Family Engagement Fun Fair Night on Tuesday, March 10, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Athens City Intermediate School.
The event is designed to bring families together for an evening of fun and learning. Activities will include local artisans from the McMinn Heritage Museum from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m., the ACP/ACI Book Fair Family Night from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., and an ACI Literacy Game Night from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Families will have the opportunity to explore hands-on activities, browse books, and participate in interactive literacy games. Organizers encourage all families to attend and enjoy a night focused on community, creativity, and learning.

Athens City Intermediate School celebrated Black History Month with a program consisting of students who portrayed important figures in history, a message from Ms. Waldroup, and the Black National Anthem, "Lift Every Voice and Sing" sung by Ms. Hardaway.

K-Kids is so thankful for the support they receive for the club and projects from ACIS admin, Ms. Hardaway and Mr Armstrong. We also appreciate Mr. Ray Grant who lets all the students in each month for their meeting and ensures we safely cross the road to get to TerraBella.
ACIS was transformed to the 1950’s by our amazing PTO for a fabulous Sock Hop. Students enjoyed limbo, hula hoop, cake walk, tattoo parlor, pictures, and best of all Coke Floats. Thank You ACIS PTO for giving our students a great time to have some fun with their friends.

Today, Ms. Hardaway’s and Mrs. Schilling’s 5th grade students surprised Mrs. Schilling with a special baby shower to celebrate the soon-to-arrive addition to her family.
