SAVE THE DATE 2025 ATHLETIC PHYSICALS - Hosted by Starr Regional Medical Center.- Thursday, May 22, 2025. Free sports physicals for all high school and middle school athletes in McMinn & Meigs Counties. Athletes are asked to arrive at the time scheduled for their respective schools. Senior Walk- 5/13/25 at Athens City Intermediate School
Congratulations to graduating senior Class of 2025!
What an amazing day at the McMinn Regional Humane Society for ACIS K-Kids. The volunteers were wonderful with the kids providing so many activities for them to help and be involved. The kids learned the importance of taking care of animals, how to care for young animals, made treats for the dogs, painted rocks for a rock garden, played with a sweet puppy (who is available for adoption), and read to the cats. K-Kids presented a check for $1200 from their sell of concessions during the intramural basketball championship. The facebook challenge between the two groups will continue through Friday, so make sure you check out McMinn Regional Humane Society page and keep those donations coming.
Thank you to Athens Optimist Club for visiting ACI staff today. They presented staff with apples today as a token of appreciation for their hard work.
ACIS 5th grade enjoyed the day at Camp Oo-Tah-Nee-Noh-Chee. We enjoyed having Melisa Fuhrmeister with TN Coordinated School Health visiting today. The rain didn't stop the fun at camp. Students were able to canoe, fish, paddle boat, play volleyball, make s'mores, sing campfire songs, and listen to campfire story.

ACS Coordinated School Health provided health treats for staff in the wellness rooms for staff to enjoy.
Reminding staff of the importance of taking a few minutes a day to de-stress is good for our mental, physical, and emotional health.
