A group of K-Kids packed books today for Let’s Read 20 to be put in the Friendly Fellow Food boxes.

Gameday for ACIS Basketball
The first official home game for ACIS. Come out to support the boys and girls team as they face Riceville Elementary.
A parent/guardian must be present with any students attending the game. Students CAN NOT be dropped off and picked up.
Support the ACIS K-Kids and visit the concession stand for drinks, popcorn, and candy.
Tomorrow is an exciting opportunity to support some of our ACIS students! We have our 1st home game! Girls at 6:00. Boys at 7:00. Admission to the game is free. K-Kids will be doing concessions. Students who attend must be accompanied by an adult. All students are encouraged to wear school colors to school tomorrow!
ACIS K-Kids made their monthly visit to TerraBella for Christmas Bingo and candy cane ornament making.

ACIS family engagement committee met today. Thank you Ms. Hardaway, Mrs. Medrano, Mrs. Comerford, and Mr. Davis for sharing great information about Camp Oo-Tah-Nee-Noh-Chee, School Compact, School Family Engagement Plan, Kids Connection, School Partnerships, PTO Updates, and school and system updates. Family Engagement is a great way to stay connected to your child's school.
Thank you to all the Veteran's who served to give our students and staff the freedoms we have. The ACIS Veteran's Day program was held today to recognize and honor Veterans by singing by 3rd graders and presenting Quilts of Valor to four special Veterans.
Congratulations to Mrs. Kylene Raper who was recognized and awarded today at the VFW Veterans Day Program as the VFW McMinn County Teacher of the Year. Mrs. Raper is an amazing educator who exemplifies the love of education and support for military families every day to her students and staff.
