We want to thank the McMinn County Education Foundation and the Athens Federal Foundation for their donation to our school caring closet. Athens City Middle School is so appreciative of these organizations and their support of our school community.

Mrs. Barnett's 8th grade classes created and launched homemade hot air balloons today. This was a great project to integrate multiple STEM based skills into a fun activity. Thanks to Dr. Goodman's classes for helping out with out project! #ExcellenceIsACMS

The school board recognized two system personnel selected to serve on State Instructional Advisory Committees. Mrs. Lauren Derrick-Dyslexia Advisory Council. Mrs. Arielle Halsall- TDOE English Learner Educator Working Group We are honored to have them representing ACS.
