Today is National School Resource Officer Appreciation Day. ACS is so thankful for our School Resource Officers. Thank you for all you do for our students, staff, famlies, and community!
ACMS 8th graders got to attend a concert in honor of Black History Month with the one and only Wendel Werner and cast members of The Arts Center's production of Ain't Misbehavin'. Big thank you to the Athens Area Council for the Arts for sponsoring this concert!!

Save the Date for a Tech-tacular Stem Night for Families on March 13th. Join us for a systemwide evening of fun with the Muse of Knoxville, TWU Education Dept and ACS STEM staff. It will be located at Athens City Intermediate School from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
Reminder to students interested in participating in the speech contest that will be held on Friday, Feb. 21st should see Mrs. Barnett or Mrs. Sumner to complete the application. Applications are due Friday, Feb. 14th.
