Congratulations to Mrs. Kylene Raper who was recognized and awarded today at the VFW Veterans Day Program as the VFW McMinn County Teacher of the Year. Mrs. Raper is an amazing educator who exemplifies the love of education and support for military families every day to her students and staff.

Veterans Day Celebration at Athens City Middle School
Sixth grade Mathletetes dominated at Mu Alpha Theta's annual Mathfest on Thursday, November 7th! Axton Powell, Alex Downs, and Madden Lingerfelt all placed on the 6th grade written test, with Emily Gao in FIRST!!! ACMS Purple Team won first place in ciphering-this team consisted of Alex Downs and Axton Powell. To bring it home, ACMS won first place on the Inter School Test! Mrs. Sjoberg, Dr. Robinson, and Ms. Peters couldn’t be any prouder of these 24 contestants!
