We want to thank our city public works department and our maintenance and operations department for their hard work in getting our roadways, parking lots and sidewalks cleared and treated during this most recent winter event.
Please be cautious in your travels to and from school. Travel only when and where you feel it is safe. Allow extra time, be aware of patches that may have a higher tendency to freeze overnight, bridges and overpasses, and any areas with standing water.

Today is Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. We are so thankful for ACS School Resource Officers, Athens Police Department, McMinn County Sheriff's Department, Homeland Security, Tennessee Highway Patrol and all law enforcement. ACMS Sneaker Ball Christmas Dance
Wow, what a night at ACMS enjoying the Christmas Band Concert. #excellenceisACMSband
Hope to see you tonight at 6pm for the Holiday Band Concert, followed by the Sneaker Ball for students from 7pm-9pm. Admission to the dance is $5, with concessions being sold (LARGE BILLS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED). Admission to the band concert is free (a book donation for our Read 20 bus is GREATLY appreciated!
