Athens City Middle School

Due to the forecasted wintry weather and predicted icy road conditions Athens City Schools will be closed Monday, January 26 and Tuesday, January 27, 2026. Kids Connection will be also closed.  We will continue to monitor forecasts and conditions as we enter next week.  We hope everyone stays safe and warm!

Athens City Middle- Mandy Million, 5th-8th Grade Category Winner and District Level Winner Athens City Primary- Cayci Powers Athens City Intermediate- Leidy Newton, PreK-4th Grade Category Winner

ACMS Girls Soccer team was recognized this evening for their outstanding season of 16-1 and State Runner-up for the 2025-2026 season. We are so extremely proud of these athletes as they represented our school, community, and state. #ExcellenceIsACM

A few tips to help keep from spreading germs during this cold and flu season. Washing your hands often, cover coughs/sneezes, and get plenty of rest. Before heading back to school on Tuesday wash your child’s jackets, backpacks, shoes, etc and help us fight off the flu and other germs. You can also wipe down their lunch boxes, binders, etc with disinfectant wipes. Help us keep colds and flu out of our school. #ExcellenceIsACS

ACS will be on an abbreviated early dismissal schedule on Friday, December 19th. Buses will run. Breakfast and Lunch will be served. We look forward to seeing our students tomorrow on our last day of school before Christmas Break!
