ACM Track and Field Tryouts will be on February 5th at McMinn County High School from 4:30pm - 6:00pm. Sign Up sheets are in the ACMS front office on the board. You must have a current physical on file before tryouts. Participants need to bring tennis shoes & water.

All ACMS students are invited to a Winter Fun Night next Friday, Feb. 9th from 3pm-5pm. The cost is $5 per student (paid at the door) and concessions will be sold! IT WILL BE FUN!!!
A few tips to help keep from spreading germs during this cold and flu season. Wash your child’s jackets, backpacks, shoes, etc and help us fight off the flu and other germs. You can also wipe down their lunch boxes, binders, etc with disinfectant wipes. Help us keep colds and flu out of our school.

ACS is excited to celebrate the Grand Opening of Athens City Primary and Intermediate School on Sunday, February 4th from 2-4 p.m. It will be held rain or shine. Please find map of entry doors and parking availablity. Free shuttle will also be available.
February is American Heart Health month. It is a time to raise awareness of heart health and heart disease. National Wear Red Day is Friday, February 2nd. It's a great time to focus on heart healthy diets and daily exercise to protect your heart.
We encourage all staff and students to wear RED this Friday.
ACS was honored to pack the bags for Nourish One Child backpack program this week. We are so thankful for this community ministry that benefits the students of ACS.
ACMS PE teachers applied for a Coordinated School Health fall mini grant to purchase 5 cross net courts. The kids are loving the new activity!!
