The Student Council Holiday Drive continues thru December 8th! Grades 7 & 8 are collecting small toys, while 6th grade is collecting canned pet food. The homeroom who collects the most will win a party.
Homecoming week continues tomorrow with Dynamic Duo Day! Dress up as your favorite iconic duo, trio or group! The grade level with the highest percentage of student dress up will earn points toward winning the COUGAR CUP trophy! Homecoming King & Queen will be crowned during Thursday nights games against Sweetwater!

Ms. Angel Hardaway is one of the nine finalists in the state for Tennessee Principal of the Year. We are so grateful for her leadership, dedication , and enthusiasm as Principal at Athens City Intermediate. She will be recognized this coming week at the Tennessee Principal of the Year Award banquet. We are excited to celebrate this distinguished award with Ms.Hardaway.
