Ms. Smith's kindergartners have had fun learning about what trees need to survive and what trees provide to animals and people. They worked in teams to research different types of trees and created learning anchor charts to display what they learned. Then they presented what they learned to their classmates.

Today we started researching our expert birds and doing the first draft of our scientific drawing. #ExcellenceIsACP

Mrs. Wilson has found a new way to motivate her students. She started the "100 Club" in her class for Friday spelling assessments. What is 100 club? It's a club for rockstar spellers! If a student makes a 100 on their spelling test on Friday, their name is added to the board for the WHOLE WEEK, they get a piece of candy, AND 5 dojo points. This has been a huge success the last two weeks. Check out all of these rockstar spellers! 🌟✏️🎸

If you haven’t completed the survey yet, please visit www.athenscityschools.net to submit your response. Thank you for helping us reach our goal!
