On Friday, April 4th, ACS staff and students are encouraged to join the nation by wearing BLUE to advocate against Child Abuse. April is Child Abuse Prevention Month, a time to celebrate the good things our communities do to promote healthy child development and help prevent child abuse and neglect. Wearing BLUE a visual way for individuals to demonstrate that they are taking a stand against child abuse and encouraging others to do the same.

Athens City Primary PreK and Kindergarten Registration for 2025-2026 School Year is Friday, April 4. It will be from 8:30-4:30. Students enrolling in PreK must be 4 years old by August 15, 2025. The weather has not been good the past few months but today it was finally nice enough for K-Kids to get out for trash pickup. Lots of bags were filled today so hopefully the Athens City Schools campus looks much better for the event on Saturday.
