Today we had a Popsicle Party theme day! With our popsicle theme, we enjoyed science experiments, creative writing activities, and building challenges. It was a fun themed day that allowed students to put into practice all the learning and skills they have accomplished this year.

Chris Adams and Emily Forrest were both awarded the community members Sullivan Awards this morning at Tennessee Wesleyan University’s 2026 Graduation Ceremony. The Sullivan Awards are presented each year to two students and two community members in recognition of their outstanding service to the community and to Tennessee Wesleyan. Congratulations to both, we are proud and thankful for their continuing service to Athens City Schools.
