May 1- 7 is National PE and Sports Week. We are so thankful for our PE Teachers!


ACMS students were rewarded for reaching the Avid Reader category with a trip to the Movie Palace to see Minecraft. To be an Avid Reader, students had to read 15 books or 750,000 words on grade level. We are so proud of these kiddos and hope you keep on reading!

It is without question that band is not only popular at ACMS, it is EXCELLENT!! These are our 66 sixth graders. Mark your calendar-The band concert is Tuesday, 5/6, beginning at 6:00. You will be impressed.



Yesterday, we competed in Sectionals to qualify for State, and our athletes did an outstanding job! We had several athletes qualify for the State Championships:
3rd place in the 1600m
4th place in the 400m
2nd place in Shot Put and 3rd place in Discus, qualifying in both events
Girls 4x100m and 4x200m Relays
3rd place in the 4x100m
4th place in the 4x200m
Girls 4x400m Relay
3rd place to qualify
To top it off, our Girls Team earned Runner-Up for total points at the meet!







ACS registration will continue for the upcoming 2025-2026 School Year for PreK and Kindergarten students. PreK registration packets can be picked up at 943 Crestway Drive. Kindergarten registration will be at 316 McMinn Avenue. Please see flier for more information.
