MAY 3, 2026 This National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Weekend, our Nation honors the brave volunteer and career firefighters who have sacrificed their lives in the line of whose courage and devotion to their communities will never be forgotten. We carry their memories forward in gratitude along with the enduring promise of a Nation forever changed by their sacrifice. ACMS is thankful for the brave men and women of the Athens Fire Department and multiple community volunteers that have  served and are currently serving our community.

Mrs. Watson’s kindergarten class had a wonderful day releasing their butterflies. It was such a neat learning experience to watch the lifecycle from beginning to end. Just two weeks ago, they started as tiny caterpillars, then grew and formed their chrysalises, and finally emerged as butterflies this week. We celebrated their release by enjoying a snack outside together.

ACI K-Kids represented ACS well at the Kiwanis meeting! These young leaders continue to shine through service, leadership, and community involvement. We’re proud of the example they set!#ExcellenceIsACS
