Journey "under the sea" with Ariel and her aquatic friends in ACMS Fine Arts Department's spring production of Disney's The Little Mermaid JR., adapted from Disney's Broadway production and the motion picture (featuring the enormously popular Academy Award-winning music and delightfully charming book and lyrics). Based on one of Hans Christian Andersen's most beloved stories, Disney's The Little Mermaid JR. is an enchanting look at the sacrifices we all make for love and acceptance. Mrs. Crockett's class had a wonderful time celebrating Sleep Book Day!Students came dressed in their cozy pajamas and brought their favorite bedtime books to share. We enjoyed quiet reading time, fun stories, and lots of smiles. It was a perfect way to celebrate the joy of reading together!

Oh, what a night! If you missed the ACIS Talent show you missed an amazing night of students on the stage. So proud of all the students who tried out, worked hard, and got up in front of a large crowd of families and friends to share their gifts. A huge shout out and THANK YOU to all the ACIS Staff who worked to put on the show, the Athens City Intermediate School PTO who puts in countless hours to provide for the students of ACIS, and all who came out to support the students.
