Kids Connection students have had a good week with reading time with Peyton, Zumba with Maggie, yoga, Spark camp presentations and practicing academic skills.

ACS Family Engagement and KC are excited to have Athens Martial Arts providing family engagement support for students and families this summer. Our upcoming second grade students did an experiment with creating solar ovens. Then we made s'mores to bake in them out in the sun. With it being so hot, it didn't take long! At last we ate our delicious ​s'mores!

Today ACM students worked on Newton’s Laws by building roller coasters, learned about how and why the medical industry needs to put a coating on medicines due to our digestive system, and learned about the physical changes in states of matter that occur when they made ice cream.
