Athens City Intermediate School

School attendance is so important! Please check out the attached Iink for important information about our attendance policy, family resources, and other helpful tips to help make your child's school year a successful one. Remember: If your child is absent due to illness, be sure to return with a doctor's note. Let's work together to make attendance a priority! https://www.athenscityschools.net/o/athens-schools/page/attendance

Reminder: Athens City Schools partners with Dolly Parton Children’s Hospital to provide telehealth services for all students.

Through this partnership, pediatric providers can evaluate symptoms and recommend treatment via a secure virtual health visit right from the school clinic. If your child becomes sick while at school, this service allows them to be seen quickly without you having to leave work. Save yourself a trip to urgent care or ER.

✅ Quick and convenient care at school
✅ Immediate evaluation if your child gets sick during the school day
✅ Visits billed to insurance (sliding scale available for uninsured families)

👉 Learn more or register your child here: https://www.etch.com/your-visit/school-telehealth-resources/

Please note: Telehealth consent paperwork must be completed for your child to take advantage of this service.
