TN Ready testing will begin on April 15th and go through April 25th. All test will be conducted in the morning and end by 12:00 each day. It is imperative that students arrive to school on time! We also ask that you do not pick up your child for appointments during testing times. Thank you for your cooperation!

Save the date! April 2nd is Autism Awareness Day. ACS staff and students are encouraged to to wear BLUE to show awareness for Autism.

PreK Registration packets are now available to pickup for the 2024-2025 school year. The packets can be picked up at any of the school offices or the Administration Office located at 943 Crestway Drive. For questions, call 745-1516.
Athens City Schools announces an abbreviated school day on Monday, April 8, 2024. This change of schedule is due to the timing of the upcoming partial solar eclipse. We wanted to provide an opportunity for students and families to safely enjoy the event together. ACS Literacy Family Night with Children’s Discovery Museum and TWU Education Dept. It was a fun evening for students and families.
ACS Family Engagement and Kids Connection will be providing a Zumba Family Night on Tuesday, April 16th at 5:30 p.m. at the Athens City Intermediate Gym. It will be a fun night for the entire family.
ACS Literacy Family Night is tonight from 5:00-7:00 pm. Join us for a night of fun with Children's Discovery Museum and TWU Education students. It will be hosted at Athens City Primary School. Everyone is invited to attend.
