ACI- SAVE THE DATE! 🍨🥤 🎶 Students: Get ready to twist the day away! The Sock Hop at ACIS is coming on February 13th for all grade levels. Break out those socks and dancing shoes! 🕺💃 👀 Parents: Be on the lookout for volunteer sign-ups to help make this event a success!

ACI- 🎤✨ Talent Show Tryouts! ✨🎤 Tryouts will take place Wednesday, January 14th after school. The theme is Broadway, but students can do any type of performance. ⏰ Students must be picked up at 4:45 PM. We can’t wait to see our students shine!

Happy New Year! We are looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow morning! Bible Club will start back tomorrow as well.

A few tips to help keep from spreading germs during this cold and flu season. Washing your hands often, cover coughs/sneezes, and get plenty of rest. Before heading back to school on Tuesday wash your child’s jackets, backpacks, shoes, etc and help us fight off the flu and other germs. You can also wipe down their lunch boxes, binders, etc with disinfectant wipes. Help us keep colds and flu out of our school. #ExcellenceIsACS

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from Athens City Intermediate School.

A few K-Kids came out to pack 580 food boxes for the Friendly Fellows that will be handed out to families in the community. #ExcellenceIsACS

ACIS held their Gift of Love Program to remember the importance of giving to others after collecting canned goods for Table Graces. Over 400 lbs of food was collected. Kurt Weigel spoke to the students about giving to others and why they should remember others during this time of year. Afterwards the students enjoyed a sing a long.#ExcellenceIsACI

ACS will be on an abbreviated early dismissal schedule on Friday, December 19th. Buses will run. Breakfast and Lunch will be served. We look forward to seeing our students tomorrow on our last day of school before Christmas Break!

Santa Shoppe takes a village to pull off. This year Mrs. Barnett’s classes at ACMS helped us wrap presents. As a thank you we sent in sugar cookies to decorate! Thank you to everyone who has played a part in bringing the magic to ACIS! #ExcellenceIsACS

Some K-Kids spent time this morning packing 450 bags of books which will be placed in the Friendly Fellows Christmas Food boxes. Thanks to the K-Kids and Lets Read 20, families will not only receive food for Christmas but also brand new books to read. #ExcellenceIsACI
