Extreme Heat Safety Reminder!
ACS will be operating today on normal schedule. A reminder to stay hydrated and take frequent breaks if you are outside in the extreme heat conditions today. #ExcellenceIsACS
📱🔒 On Friday, ACMS welcomed members of the Athens Police Department to speak with our students about responsible cell phone and social media use.
Students were reminded that the choices they make online matter and that protecting personal information, thinking before posting, and safeguarding their digital footprints are important parts of staying safe in today’s connected world.
We are grateful for APD’s continued partnership and shared commitment to keeping our students, schools, and community safe! 💙💛

Good attendance starts with being here—and every day matters! When students attend school regularly, they have more opportunities to learn, connect, and achieve.
Hey, Parents! This one’s for you!
Students who miss 1 day or less in September will be entered into a drawing for their parent/guardian to win a gift card to a local coffee shop!
Let’s work together to help our students BE HERE. BELONG. ACHIEVE.
Absences add up. Every minute counts!

Congratulations to the ACMS Cross Country Team. We had one finish 4th and one 6th in the girl's race. We had one finish 11th and one finish 13th in the boy's race. Everyone else finished in the top 50 percent! There were almost 87 girls and 135 boys running yesterday. We are looking forward to dominating the race again next week at Red Clay State Park.
