ACS will be closed on Friday, March 29th in observance of Good Friday holiday and also on Monday, April 1st for Professional Development Day. Students will return back to class on Tuesday, April 2nd. We hope everyone has a great long weekend !

It was a great day for a Track Meet at Cleveland Middle School last Thursday! We will be competing there again tomorrow, Thursday, March 28th. Help us in cheering on our Cougar Track Team.

Athens City Schools announces an abbreviated school day on Monday, April 8, 2024. This change of schedule is due to the timing of the upcoming partial solar eclipse. We wanted to provide an opportunity for students and families to safely enjoy the event together. ACMS TN Ready Testing will begin on April 16th and go through May 1st. All tests will be conducted in the morning and end by 11:00am each day. It is imperative that students arrive to school on time! We also ask that you do not pick up your child(ren) for appts during the testing times. Thank you for your cooperation.

PreK Registration packets are now available to pickup for the 2024-2025 school year. The packets can be picked up at any of the school offices or the Administration Office located at 943 Crestway Drive. For questions, call 745-1516.

ACS Coordinated School Health and Nurses were provided updates from The Allergy, Asthma, and Sinus Center today. We appreciate them sharing the latest information with our school health dept.
