February is National Children’s Dental Health Month which is a great opportunity to promote the benefits of good oral health. It is important to develop good dental health habits at an early age, scheduling regular dental visits, helps children get a good start on a lifetime of healthy teeth and gums. ACS staff attended the Coordinated School Health Institute this week to collaborate with other districts across the state on school health, wellness, nutrition, safety, and family engagement. Julie Lofland, CSH Director and Family Engagement Coordinator, presented two sessions focusing on family engagement and staff wellness.
