Based on one of Hans Christian Andersen's most beloved stories, Disney's The Little Mermaid JR. is an enchanting look at the sacrifices we all make for love and acceptance. ACMS Mermaid Madness!! Bring your littles out to have a night of fun before seeing the opening performance of ACMS's Little Mermaid Jr.! Fun games, dancing, Photo Booth, character meet-and-greet, and more!! $5!! Kids 3-10! Parent chaperones are free (all children must be accompanied)! Dress in your favorite Disney or mermaid costumes!!!!

Athens City Schools , in partnership with East Tennessee Children’s Hospital (ETCH), offers telehealth visits right from your child’s school clinic/nurse’s office.
These are virtual pediatric appointments conducted on school grounds.
They’re designed to help students get evaluated and treated for minor illnesses during the school day.
A pediatric provider from ETCH will connect virtually with your child with assistance from the school nurse.
🩺 What It’s For
Telehealth visits are for common minor health issues such as:
Colds or flu-like symptoms
Sore throat
Ear pain
Minor rashes
And other minor illnesses (based on school nurse and provider judgment)
Before any telehealth visit happens:
The school nurse will contact you first to confirm that a telehealth visit is desired.

Athens City Schools will host a systemwide Family Engagement Fun Fair Night on Tuesday, March 10, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Athens City Intermediate School.
The event is designed to bring families together for an evening of fun and learning. Activities will include local artisans from the McMinn Heritage Museum from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m., the ACP/ACI Book Fair Family Night from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., and an ACI Literacy Game Night from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Families will have the opportunity to explore hands-on activities, browse books, and participate in interactive literacy games. Organizers encourage all families to attend and enjoy a night focused on community, creativity, and learning.
