Exciting News from Athens City Schools! We are thrilled to announce our new partnership with East Tennessee Children's Hospital to provide telehealth services for our students! Through this partnership, students will have access to timely medical care during the school day with the help of our school nurses and East Tennessee medical professionals. Just to let you know, a school nurse will always contact the parent or guardian before a telehealth visit is initiated to make sure that it is the desired choice for care. Join us at the Family Engagement Latino Cultural Night on Monday, October 27th, from 5:30-7:00 p.m.- Located at Athens City Intermediate 255 Keith Lane *East Tennessee Children’s Hospital representatives will be on site to: *Help get your student registered *Answer any questions you may have The telehealth services will be available starting in mid-November at all of our schools.
