ACS appreciates the partnership with Well Child who provides onsite visits to our schools to offer additional health screenings and optometry exams to students. Families are able to sign-up and provide consent for the student to participate in the services. We appreciate the partnership to offer this service to our students and families.

April 15th is commissioned by State of TN to be recognized as "Purple Up! For Military Kids" day. In April we celebrate military children, this day is set aside to celebrate the important role military children play while their service member parents serve our country. We appreciate all that have served and are serving in the Armed Forces. ACS will celebrate by wearing Purple on Tuesday, April 15th.

Mrs. Wilson's class worked with their peers unscrambling puzzle pictures and captions to match them. They LOVED this and did such a great job!
Students in 1st- 5th grade had fun learning in STEM class about the food pyramid, healthy food choices, value of money, and portion sizes. Thanks to the Coordinated School Health mini grant for funding this project for students to learn hands on in the STEM lab.
