Mrs. Weirs class expanded their study of fossils and paleontology by completing their own fossil dig. The students were excited about the fossils they found! They also discovered paleontologists have to be patient, focused, and be able to persevere as they search carefully for fossils!

Congratulations to Mrs. Kylene Raper who was recognized and awarded today at the VFW Veterans Day Program as the VFW McMinn County Teacher of the Year. Mrs. Raper is an amazing educator who exemplifies the love of education and support for military families every day to her students and staff.

1/2- ACPS is participating in the Kids Heart Challenge to support the American Heart Association. Over the next few weeks, we will be educating our students on heart, brain and vascular health, and meeting kids from around the nation with special hearts!
