Mrs. Davis’s first graders had a blast at Sock Hop! #ExcellenceIsACP

4th grade students had a great time at the Athens City Fire Department Training facility. They learned about fire safety, played some games like they were a bucket brigade or taking the fitness test, teamwork to use the hose, and safely got their classes out of a building.

K-Kids made their first visit of the year to The Groves of Athens. Residents enjoyed watching the students play candy penny pitching where the kids loaded up on candy.

Congratulations Cross Country!

Congratulations ACM Volleyball!

Congratulations ACM Girls Soccer!

Congratulations ACMS Tennis Team!

Our 8th graders had an amazing day getting outside, making memories, laughing with friends, and enjoying some well-deserved fun at Camp Oo-tah-nee-noh-chee! Days like today are about more than just fun—they’re about building friendships, strengthening connections, and creating memories that our students will carry with them long after they leave ACMS. A huge thank-you to everyone who helped make this special day possible! We are so thankful for the opportunity to give our students a day filled with fun, friendship, and memories to last a lifetime!

ACMS Kiwanis Builders Club had their very first community service opportunity at Keith Methodist Church, helping prepare food and bags for Nourish One Child. What a wonderful opportunity to serve our community! Serve • Lead • Make a Difference

Third graders put science to the test! After noticing an orange floating in their Science book, students had questions—and our STEM teacher said, “Let’s test it!” With nearly 100 donated oranges, students tested what happens when the peel is removed. About 20 oranges continued to float! The students loved the experiment and even figured out why! Now it’s your turn: Why would a peeled orange continue to float?

Kids Connection students began clubs today. Clubs were chosen after students were surveyed for their favorite activities.

Happy National School Custodian Appreciation Day! Today we celebrate our amazing school custodians who work hard each day to keep our schools clean, safe, and welcoming for students and staff. #ExcellenceIsACS
